Amanda Filipek has a diverse background in financial analysis and modeling. Amanda currently works at Richmond National as a Financial Modeler, where they support the CSO/CRO in automating underwriting processes and assisting with pricing. Amanda also assists Finance with budgeting and forecasting projects. Prior to this, Amanda worked at Liberty Military Housing as a Financial Analyst, preparing and analyzing financial and operational reports, as well as providing data insights into expenses and operational efficiencies. Amanda also served as a Project Analyst in the Reporting & Analysis department, where they provided financial reporting, analysis, project management, and process improvement support. Amanda previously worked at James River Insurance Company, first as a Financial Planning Associate, responsible for budget variance reporting and engaging with various departments on analytics projects. Amanda also served as a Finance Intern, working closely with the CFO to design budget variance reports and handling classified salary information. Amanda has additional experience as the Vice President of Gamma Iota Sigma, a lead energy analyst in the VCU Student Managed Investment Portfolio, a financial modeling consultant at Greater Richmond ARC, and a teaching assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University.
