Sheila McCray serves as the Dean of Students at Rich Township High School District 227 since 2014, focusing on progressive discipline, academic improvement, and student emotional support while fostering community relationships. Previously, Sheila held the position of Assistant Principal at Crete Monee District 201U (2012-2014), managing staffing, scheduling, curriculum development, and staff evaluation. Earlier roles include Dean of Students at Rich Central High School (2011-2012) and English Instructor at Rich East High School (2009-2011). Sheila's diverse background also includes teaching at Homewood-Flossmoor High School, and experience in sales management with Metropolitan Property and Casualty Insurance and Century 21 Blue Ribbon Realtors. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University, a Master of Arts in Secondary English Education from Governors State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies and English from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
