Jim Morrissey began their work experience in 1980 as a Field Technician (Telephone/Computer) at Nortel Networks. Jim held this position until 1999 when they became a Customer Service Manager at the same company, a role they held until 2010. In 2010, Morrissey joined Genband as a Project Manager, and in 2017, they moved to Ribbon Communications, where they also worked as a Project Manager.
Jim Morrissey began their education in 1978 at Ranken Technical College, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology in 1980. During the same period, they also earned a Diploma in Computer Hardware Technology/Technician from Ranken Technical College.
In 1988, Jim Morrissey furthered their education at Ranken Technical College, where they completed an Associate's degree in Computer Hardware Technology/Technician.
Jim then pursued a Certificate in Supervisory Management at Ranken Technical College in 1989.
From 1992 to 1993, Jim Morrissey attended Webster University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General.
