Ilya Simkin is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as a Software Team Lead at Ribbon Communications since June 2021, Ilya previously held positions as a Software Engineer at ECI Telecom from April 2017 to June 2021 and as a Software Developer at Deutsche Telekom Innovation Labs at Ben-Gurion University from January 2015 to November 2016, contributing to back-end development and algorithm implementation projects. Earlier experience includes working as a Software Implementation Consultant at Idan Computers Ltd., where responsibilities involved training sessions and project development for the Ministry of Defense. Ilya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, earned between 2012 and 2016.
