Thomas Clees is an experienced professional in public policy and law, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Federal Public Policy at the Recording Industry Association of America® since November 2018, having previously held the position of Vice President in the same area. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Policy Advisor and Counsel, and Legislative Assistant for Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) from 2016 to November 2018, and as Legislative Assistant for Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) from 2015 to 2016. Thomas's background also includes academic involvement as a Professorial Lecturer in Law at The George Washington University Law School in 2016, and legal roles at Snell & Wilmer as an attorney and summer associate, among various internships and fellowships. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Arizona State University and a law degree from The George Washington University Law School.
