Derek Allen, CLCS, currently serves as the President of RIA Holdings, LLC (Mitzel & Roots Agencies) since December 2022. Prior to this role, Derek has extensive experience in the insurance industry, having worked as a Commercial Agent at Meadowbrook Insurance Agency, a division of AmeriTrust Group, from August 2014 to September 2023. Additionally, Derek has experience as a Risk Control/Commercial Insurance Agent at Meadowbrook Insurance Group, Inc., and served as a Loss Mitigation Specialist at TCF Bank. Early career experience includes a position as a Delivery/Sandwich Expert at Jimmy John's. Derek holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Eastern Michigan University and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Walsh College.
