Taressa Jones currently serves as the Director of Nursing at RI Nurses Institute Middle College Charter School since September 2024. Prior to this role, Taressa was the Assistant Health Center Director at Providence Community Health Centers for five years, where responsibilities included community health nursing, administrative support, and quality improvement initiatives. Taressa’s nursing career began as a Staff Registered Nurse and progressed to a Charge Nurse with a focus on patient-centered care and team-based approaches. With previous experience as a Lead Medical Assistant and Certified Nursing Assistant, Taressa has demonstrated expertise in clinical support, health education, and patient advocacy. Taressa is pursuing a Master’s of Science in Nursing at Rhode Island College, building on a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UMass Boston.
