Andrea Suhner Grotzfeld, PhD, currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical Development at RhyGaze AG, where strategic and operational leadership is provided for the clinical development of innovative optogenetic therapies. Prior experience includes Vice President of Clinical Development at Tenpoint Therapeutics Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed strategy and clinical development for regenerative cell therapies targeting ocular diseases. With a substantial tenure at Novartis, positions included Senior Clinical Development Director, Clinical Development Director, and Clinical Scientific Associate Director, focusing on ocular gene therapies and retinal diseases. Earlier roles involved management of clinical studies in biomarkers at Biosite and clinical research in sleep disorders at The Scripps Research Institute and Weill Cornell Medical College.
