Joelle Kanter is an accomplished planner with extensive experience in community and regional planning. Since December 2018, Joelle has been serving as a Planner at the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority. Prior to this role, Joelle held the position of Program Manager at The Providence Foundation from March 2005 to November 2018 and at Newark Downtown District from January 2002 to March 2005. Joelle began their career as a Project Manager at Square Foot LLC from September 2001 to January 2004. Joelle holds a Master of Science in Community & Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in History, both from The University of Texas at Austin.
