Suzanne Siverling

Weather Subsystem Lead/System Engineer at RGNext

Suzanne Siverling has a diverse work experience in meteorology and weather systems. Suzanne started their career as an Intern for Chief Meteorologist Tom Sorrells at WKMG-TV in 2004, where they created animated weather graphics, assisted in live broadcasting during Hurricane Charlie coverage, and provided updates to the public during severe weather. Suzanne then worked as an Aviation Meteorologist at ENSCO, Inc. from 2006 to 2009, where they analyzed weather data to forecast tropical cyclones and issued aeronautical forecasts. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Meteorologist at Computer Sciences Raytheon, where they edited wind speed and directional data for mission activities and coordinated launch critical information with various launch customers. Suzanne then joined PAE as a Meteorologist from 2013 to 2015, where they continued their responsibilities in editing and coordinating launch critical information. Currently, they are working at RGNext since 2015, initially as a Meteorologist and then as a Supervisor of Weather Operations and Command Destruct. In their current role, they provide leadership in support of the Weather Subsystem for both the Eastern Range and Western Range, conducts meetings to address subsystem needs and deficiencies, and collaborates with launch and range customers to determine required weather data.

Suzanne Siverling obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from the Florida Institute of Technology between 2001 and 2005. Later, between 2014 and 2016, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Geoscience - Applied Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
