Govind Tripathi has a diverse work experience in the field of fertilizers and chemicals. Govind is currently working as the Chief Manager (Production) at Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Reliance Industries Limited as Deputy General Manager from December 2017 to November 2022. Govind also held the position of Operations Manager at AOA Spa JV Sonatrach/SBGH Société Algéro-Omanienne Fertilizer plant from March 2016 to December 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Operations Manager at Indorama Eleme Fertilizer and Chemicals Limited from June 2014 to November 2015. Govind also worked as a Process Engineer at SABIC in Saudi Arabia from February 2012 to June 2014. Before that, they served as a Senior Manager in Fertilizers Project at Matix Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited from November 2010 to February 2012. Govind gained experience as an Operation Engineer at Sohar International Urea Chemical Industries from October 2008 to October 2010. Govind played an instrumental role in the project installation of De-hydrogenation Reactor in Urea Plant at Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, where they worked as a Deputy Manager from July 2001 to October 2008. Govind started their career as an Assistant Manager at Tata Chemicals in August 1999, where they were promoted to Senior Shift Engineer in August 2000. Throughout their career, Govind Tripathi has demonstrated expertise in process monitoring, operations management, project engineering, and collaboration with licensors and vendors.

Govind Tripathi completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technical University from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Science and Mathematics at the SSC level. Govind obtained their High School Diploma in Physical Sciences from BNSD Shiksha Niketan Kanpur from 1990 to 1992.

In addition to their formal education, Govind Tripathi has also pursued various certifications. These include completing courses such as "Design Thinking: Prototyping," "Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World (Blinkist Summary)," "Enhancing Your Productivity," "Excel: VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP for Beginners," "Learning Agility," "Getting Things Done," "How to Develop Your Career Plan," "Learning Brainstorming," and "Communication Foundations" from different institutions such as LinkedIn, Lynda.com, and Simplilearn. The certifications were obtained between 2019 to 2021, with the latest certification being completed in October 2021.
