Doug Craney has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Doug worked as the CFO, Tableware at Reynolds Consumer Products, where they led a team of finance professionals and was responsible for financial analysis, pricing optimization, and cost savings opportunities. Doug also served as the Finance Director, leading the development and reporting of customer and brand profitability across five business units.

At Global Nutrition Company, Doug worked as a Global Financial Planning & Analysis Consultant, where they contributed to a project that identified cost savings opportunities and built sales tracking reports for senior leaders. In their role as the Vice President of Business Development & Investor Relations at Career Education Corporation, Doug played a key role in divesting a campus and improving investor messaging.

In their role as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Glory Global Solutions, they led the North America FP&A team and achieved a 20% improvement in forecasting accuracy.

Prior to this, they worked at Alberto Culver in various roles, including Director of Corporate Development and Investor Relations, Manager of Corporate Development and Investor Relations, Manager of Financial Analysis, and International Consolidation Accountant. During their time at Alberto Culver, Doug was instrumental in strategic acquisitions and divestitures, managed investor communications, and oversaw financial processes.

Doug started their career as a Senior Accountant at Smurfit Stone Corp and TCF Bank, and as a Personal Banker at First Colonial Bank Shares Corporation.

Doug Craney completed their MBA in Accounting from DePaul University, which they attended from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the Wisconsin School of Business, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Additionally, Doug has earned the certification of Certified Public Accountant from The Board of Examiners University of Illinois in August 1997.
