Stefan Razvan Florea has a diverse range of work experience starting from 2012. Stefan Razvan began at TeamNet as an Intern Software Developer and eventually transitioned to a Junior Software Developer role. In 2014, they joined 11 Main, Inc. as a Junior Software Engineer.
In 2015, Florea became a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology, where they conducted research on data visualization in software crowdsourcing and built a web-based data visualization platform using various technologies.
The following year, Florea worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Emory Healthcare, where they developed visualizations for a medical visualization platform and contributed to knowledge discovery in medical datasets.
In 2017, Florea joined the European Parliament as a Software Engineer before moving to Veridium, where they developed Identity Assertion software and integrated Veridium Authenticator with different authentication and authorization protocols.
After Veridium, Florea joined Bolt as a Software Engineer, progressing to the role of Senior Software Engineer. Finally, in 2021, they became a Founder in the EF BE7 Cohort at Entrepreneur First, a startup accelerator that supports individuals in building co-founding teams and accelerating through fundraising.
Currently, Florea is the Head of Engineering at Rex, starting in September 2022.
Stefan Razvan Florea holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Groningen in 2014. From 2010 to 2014, they also obtained another Bachelor's Degree, this time in Computer Engineering, from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
