Geerte Koster is a Data Scientist at MIcompany since February 2023 and previously held various roles, including Domtoren Gids at Utrecht Marketing from March 2020 to January 2023. Geerte participated in research internships at the Centre for the Science of Learning & Technology (SLATE) and Utrecht University, focusing on curriculum mapping and machine learning techniques for predicting treatment outcomes in urothelial cancer. Geerte's teaching experience includes serving as Hoofddocent Biologie and Vakverantwoordelijke Biologie at Stichting Studiebegeleiding Leiden from December 2016 to April 2022, overseeing exam courses and curriculum development for Biology. In addition to academic and teaching roles, Geerte was the vice chair on the board of M.B.V. Mebiose for one year. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, a Minor in Natuurkunde from Utrecht University, and a Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences from Utrecht University.
