Filipe Lemos currently serves as a Capital Risk Manager at Revolut, overseeing the Capital Risk team for Revolut Bank Europe since January 2022. With extensive experience as an Independent Researcher at SSRN since 2015, Filipe is actively engaged in researching Risk-related topics and has published several papers. Filipe is also a seasoned Keynote Speaker on Risk and Banking topics, presenting at notable conferences in London and Berlin. Previously held positions include Risk Management at Banco BNI Europa, where Filipe led a small team to monitor and report various risks, and Credit Risk Manager at BNP Paribas, overseeing multiple teams focused on Transversal Reporting and Accounting to Risk Reconciliation. Early career experience includes roles at Novo Banco and SIBS, where Filipe contributed to significant projects in asset/liability management and internal consultancy. Filipe holds an Executive Master in Management and Banking from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, along with additional qualifications from Esade and Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
