Catarina Simão began their work experience in 2004 at Banco Efisa, where they worked as a Senior Associate until 2011. Catarina then joined Price Waterhouse Coopers as a Senior Associate from 2011 to 2014. Following that, they worked at KPMG II - Consultores de Negócios, SA as a Senior Associate in Transactions & Restructuring for a brief period in 2014. Catarina then moved to KPMG Advisory - Consultores de gestão, where they worked as a Manager in Deal Advisory - Restructuring from 2014 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at KPMG Portugal as an Associate Director in Deal Advisory. Catarina is currently employed at Reviva Capital S.A. as the Head of Corporate.

Catarina Simão pursued their education at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where they obtained a Master's degree in Finance in 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Post Graduate course in Finance in 2006. Their educational journey began in 1999 when they enrolled at the same university and obtained a Post Graduate degree in Economics in 2003.
