Elke Ahlswede is an experienced journalist with a focus on equities, economics, and politics, currently serving as an Editor/Reporter at Reuters News Agency since March 2005. Ahlswede has previously held roles at Reuters from October 1996 to June 2002, including Reporter, Freelancer for the Equities Desk, and Editor. Prior to this, a traineeship at Gruner + Jahr took place from January 1995 to July 1996, which followed journalism training at Henri-Nannen-Journalistenschule. Educational credentials include an M.A. in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington and M.A.s in History and English from the University of Hamburg.
