Ethan Penland has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ethan started their career at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, where they worked as a Staff Member for four years. Ethan then joined the University of North Georgia as an Admissions Officer before progressing to the role of Assistant Director of Admissions and ultimately becoming an Associate Director. During their time at the university, Ethan oversaw independent recruitment territories and implemented recruitment strategies that led to significant growth in applications and enrollment.

Ethan then transitioned to Appalachian State University, serving as the Senior Associate Director and later as the Director of Undergraduate Admissions & Recruitment. Ethan provided leadership to the admissions staff and successfully implemented initiatives that resulted in a substantial increase in applications and new student enrollment, despite the challenges posed by COVID-19.

Afterward, Ethan joined Upswing as a Customer Success Manager, where they excelled in building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Ethan then moved on to Tudor Collegiate Strategies (TCS) as the Director of Admissions Services, where they provided consulting services to help institutions improve their admissions processes.

Currently, Ethan is the Director of Partner Success at ReUp Education, where they ensure the success of partners and helps them achieve their goals.

Throughout their career, Ethan has demonstrated their ability to drive growth and implement effective strategies in recruitment and admissions. Ethan has a strong background in leadership, management, and customer success.

Ethan Penland completed their Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration at Georgia Southern University from 2015-2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature, General from the University of North Georgia, where they studied from 2010-2013.
