Steph Pettit

Contract Technical Animator at Retro Studios

Steph Pettit has a diverse work experience in the field of animation and technical art. They started their career as an Animator at Skyless Games in 2013, where they created rigs and animations for a serious game project. They then joined Moore College of Art & Design as an Adjunct Professor in 2015, where they developed the syllabus for the school's first game design course. They also worked as a Flash application developer and 3D modeler at MOD Worldwide, primarily serving a high-profile client. In 2017, Steph joined PHL Collective as a Technical Artist, where they focused on rigging animation assets and implementing them in Unity. They also developed tools using Python and C# to facilitate asset creation and export. At Drexel University, Steph held multiple roles, including Adjunct Professor and Research Assistant. As an Adjunct Professor, they taught a class on digital spatial capture and managed a motion capture studio. As a Research Assistant, they worked on an art project involving a local dance troupe. Most recently, Steph has been working as a Contract Technical Animator at Retro Studios since 2022.

Steph Pettit obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Media from Drexel University. Steph attended Drexel University from 2010 to 2014.
