George Murphy has a diverse background in the insurance industry. George is currently the Head of Actuarial and Analytics at Rethink Underwriting Ltd, a position they have held since December 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Pricing Manager at Antares from October 2019 to December 2023. George also has experience at Chaucer Syndicates, where they held various roles including Head of Pricing, London Market Pricing Manager, Senior Pricing Analyst, and Pricing Analyst from 2010 to 2019. Before joining Chaucer Syndicates, they worked as an Actuarial Advisor at KPMG from September 2007 to May 2010.

George Murphy attended Royal Holloway, University of London from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics (MSci). Additionally, they obtained a certification from hyperexponential as a Core Model Developer, although the exact month and year of obtaining the certification are unknown.
