Matt Pritchard has a diverse work history spanning over three decades. Starting in 1990, they served in the U.S. Navy Reserve as an ENS-LTJG-LT until 1995. Following their military service, they worked as a Transportation Planner at Parsons Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglas from 1994 to 1995. In 1995, they joined the Houston-Galveston Area Council as a Transportation Planner and Economic Development Planner, a position they held until 2000. From 2000 to 2005, they worked at MAXIMUS as a Knowledge Coordinator/Proposal Coordinator. Moving forward, they joined COMSYS in 2005 as a Senior Proposal Writer until 2006. Following this, they transitioned to Weingarten Realty Investors, where they held the roles of Real Estate Research Analyst from 2006 to 2014 and later became the Manager of Real Estate Research from 2014 to 2021. In 2021, Matt joined MTN Retail Advisors as a Senior Analyst and continued in this role until 2022. Currently, they are a Senior Analyst at RetailStat, a position they have held since November 2022.

Matt Pritchard completed their education at The University of Texas at Austin. From 1986 to 1990, they studied Geography and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Following this, they pursued further education in Community & Regional Planning from 1993 to 1995, obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) degree.
