Martin Richard is a data engineer at REsurety. Martin previously worked as a software engineer at Composable Analytics, Inc., where they configured new features for Composable's DataOps platform and implemented the software for clients. Martin also worked as a data engineering fellow at Insight Data Science, where they built MigrationPlus, a distributed pipeline to join location/timestamp sensor data from animal migration studies with current weather conditions, allowing researchers to enrich their data collection. Martin has also worked as a product implementation engineer at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence and as a big data intern at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

Martin Richard completed their undergraduate degree at Haverford College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics, cum laude. Martin then went on to complete a series of certification programs from Coursera in Developing Data Products, Practical Machine Learning, Regression Models, Reproducible Research, Exploratory Data Analysis, Statistical Inference, Getting and Cleaning Data, and R Programming. Finally, they completed a certification in The Data Scientist’s Toolbox.

Their manager is Sahar Shirani, Director, Engineering, Data Science. They are on a team with Mark Brewer - Data Visualization Engineer, Steven Kalt - Data Visualization Engineer, and Eddy Page - Software Engineer, Data Science.
