Gordon Fraser began their career in 1991 as a Marine Engineer with the Royal Canadian Navy | Marine royale canadienne. In 1998, they moved to 3M, where they served as a Senior Procurement & Contract Management Specialist. In 2008, they became the President & CEO of Responsible Energy Inc.

Gordon Fraser obtained their Technology Diploma in Industrial Instrumentation & Controls from St. Lawrence College in 1994. Gordon obtained their B.Sc. in Computer Science from Western University in 1991. Gordon completed their secondary education at Trinity College School - TCS in 1988. In 1998, Gordon Fraser obtained their Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) with Red Seal certification from the Ontario College of Trades.
