Chris Phillips is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as the Principal Software Engineer and Head of Engineering at Respondent since March 2022, Chris has successfully managed the engineering organization, developed and deployed new API offerings, and improved automated testing processes. Prior experience includes roles at Varsity Tutors, where Chris led engineering teams to build complex systems for a large workforce, and a variety of previous positions at companies such as IBM and PureEdge Solutions, where Chris demonstrated expertise in a range of technologies including AWS, Python, React, and various serverless frameworks. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria.
