Ryan Grant is a seasoned game designer with extensive experience in combat and systems design, currently serving as a Senior Combat Designer at Respawn Entertainment since July 2021, focusing on systems for a Star Wars first-person shooter. Previously, Ryan held a similar role at Gunfire Games from January 2019 to July 2021, contributing to Remnant II and Remnant: From the Ashes, where responsibilities included designing and tuning a wide array of game items and systems. Ryan’s career includes a Systems Designer position at 343 Industries, where prototype weapon designs were created for Halo: Infinite, and a Combat Designer role at Disney Interactive Studios, focused on Disney Infinity 3.0. Early career experience at Electronic Arts involved various design roles, including Project Lead for Project Guardian, as well as contributions to The Sims series. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Game Art and Design from The Art Institutes.
