Beia Spiller is a seasoned expert in environmental economics with significant experience in energy and transportation policy. Currently serving as the Transportation Program Director and Fellow at Resources for the Future since May 2022, Beia has also held roles as a Senior Economist and Lead Senior Economist at the Environmental Defense Fund since January 2013. Prior experience includes a Researcher position at Resources for the Future from June 2011 to February 2013. Beia's educational background includes a PhD in Environmental Economics from Duke University, a Masters in Public Policy from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, and a BA in Environmental Policy from UC San Diego.
