Zachary Ackerman currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for Resources for Community Development since September 2024 and is a Principal in Real Estate Development at Homeward Advisory since October 2022. As an Advisor in Real Estate Development at Avalon Housing since January 2021, Zachary has contributed to various projects. Previously, Zachary held multiple roles at Cottage from April 2021 to October 2024, including Head of Marketplace and Project Success Manager. Experience at Denison Consulting spanned from March 2016 to April 2021, where Zachary advanced to Vice President of Business Development. Zachary also has a political background as an elected City Council Member in Ann Arbor, serving on several commissions and boards from November 2015 to November 2020. Early career experiences include an internship at Nutshell and positions at the University of Michigan, where Zachary worked as a Senior Computing Consultant. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
