Jayla Russell is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Direct Support Professional at Residential Services, Inc. since May 2023, and as a Caregiver/PCA at CareYaya since September 2022. In these roles, Jayla provides assistance with activities of daily living, companionship, and enrichment for clients living with dementia or Alzheimer's. Since August 2021, Jayla has also worked as a Peer Counselor at the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid, helping students and families navigate financial aid questions and educating them on available loans and aid options. Jayla is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, expected to graduate in April 2025, and holds a High School Diploma from Saint Ursula Academy Toledo, graduated in 2021.
