Christian Baesler is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the media and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Partner at baesler, LLC since June 2023, Christian also holds senior advisory roles at Resident Advisor, TPG, and Axel Springer, focusing on strategy, corporate development, and investments. Previously, Christian was the Chief Operating Officer at BuzzFeed from January 2022 to April 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing revenue functions and integrating Complex Networks after its acquisition. As the former CEO of Complex Networks, Christian facilitated growth and operational leadership following the sale to BuzzFeed. Christian's earlier roles include leadership positions at Bauer Media Group, where significant achievements included the transformation of digital operations and the establishment of Bauer Xcel Media, a rapidly growing digital entity. Christian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics from Fachhochschule Nordakademie Elmshorn and has further education from Harvard Business School and Boston University.
