Jennae Bulat is a highly experienced educator and researcher, currently serving as the Senior Director of Teaching & Learning at RTI International since October 2012. In this role, Jennae manages the International Education Teaching and Learning team, focusing on early grade reading support and expanding initiatives in early childhood and upper-primary education. Previous positions include Director of Teaching & Learning and Senior Research Education Analyst at RTI International, where Jennae managed education projects in developing countries and collaborated with ministries to enhance early literacy and mathematics education. Jennae's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Research Associate at WestEd and holding the position of Director of Assessment at LeapFrog, designing and implementing numerous large-scale research projects and education interventions. Jennae earned a PhD in Reading Development from the University of California, Berkeley, and has additional degrees in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, and English, among other fields.
