Blake Borup is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in information technology and consulting. Currently serving as the Head of IT and Software Architect at Research Affiliates since October 2010, Blake has a robust background that includes a tenure as an Independent Consultant from February 1989 to October 2010, working with notable clients such as NBIM, Standard Chartered Bank, and the United States Internal Revenue Service. Previous roles include consulting positions at Norges Bank Investment Management and Netik plc, along with significant leadership experience at Control Data Corporation, where responsibilities included managing a development and operations organization of 342 personnel and an R&D team of 92 programmers. Blake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Oregon State University.
