Luis J. Gonzalez has extensive experience in the legal field, having served as a Vice President of Regulatory Affairs & Commercial Counsel at Republic National Distributing Company since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Holland & Knight LLP as a Litigation, Employment, and Liquor License Attorney-Partner from 2008 to 2020. Additionally, Luis has held leadership positions in various organizations, including serving as Past President of Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida, Inc. from 2008 to 2016. Luis J. has also been involved in nonprofit work, having been a Former Secretary & Board Member at IDignity Inc. from 2012 to 2015, and a Former Board Member/President at Turning Point of Central Florida, Inc. from 2004 to 2013. Luis began their legal career as a Legal Intern at Darden Restaurants in 2006. Prior to that, they served as a Lieutenant at the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco from 2000 to 2005, and as a Deputy/Officer in law enforcement from 1995 to 2000.

Luis J. Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Central Florida. Luis J. also obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Prior to these degrees, they attended Bishop Moore High School from 1989 to 1993.
