Ricardo Cesar B. de Melo has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Completion and Production Enhancement Engineering Advisor at Repsol since September 2013. In this role, Ricardo supports strategic projects through technical advice on production enhancement techniques, completion processes, and new technology implementation. Prior to Repsol, Ricardo held various high-level positions at Baker Hughes, including Technical Support Director for the Africa region, where responsibilities encompassed cementing, stimulation, and sand control. Ricardo also managed operations as Executive Country Director for BJ Services in Angola, achieving profitability for the first time in a decade. Ricardo's early career included roles in engineering coordination and field engineering across Brazil, supported by an Electrical Engineering degree from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte and further education in oil and gas sectors.
