As an Ambassador for Represent Justice and a Client Services Advocate for the Southern Center for Human Rights, Waleisah connects clients with crucial resources for successful reentry. Waleisah also owns Phoenix Recruiting & Employment Services, LLC, providing recruitment and startup services. Additionally, Waleisah has founded NEWLIFE-SECOND CHANCE OUTREACH and served as an Employment Specialist at SafeHouse Ministries, facilitating job readiness for returning citizens. With fellowships from Open Society Foundations and Southerners On New Ground, Waleisah is committed to elevating marginalized communities. Waleisah holds multiple advanced degrees in nonprofit management, human services, and criminal justice, showcasing a strong academic foundation to complement extensive field experience.
