Principal OT Engineer at Repligen

Stephen Briganti has a diverse work experience ranging from engineering and project management roles to teaching positions. Stephen started their career in 2007 as an intern at the Harwich Water Department, where they automated office tasks using advanced computing knowledge. Stephen then worked as a piloting/field service/laboratory intern at Environmental Partners Group, Inc, conducting a membrane water treatment plant study and performing various plant maintenance tasks. In 2008, they joined Industrial Technical Services as a control technician and computer programmer, specializing in SCADA system installation and programming. During their time there, they developed custom data reporting solutions for customers using PHP and MySQL. In 2010, they became the lead project engineer at Pall Corporation, where they managed packaged water filtration system projects. Stephen transitioned to Metalor Technologies SA in 2014 as an automation engineer, eventually being promoted to engineering manager responsible for managing engineering projects and capital expenditures. In 2015, they joined Woodard & Curran as a project engineer and was later promoted to technical manager, overseeing SCADA operational technology. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a division manager and SME - SCADA solutions architect at Ramboll, contributing to the direction of the division and managing up to four direct reports. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Repligen Corporation as a principal OT engineer. Throughout their career, Stephen has demonstrated expertise in automation, project management, and technical leadership.

Stephen Briganti has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2006. Stephen then pursued their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from 2006 to 2009. Later, they completed their education at the same university and obtained another Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their academic achievements, Stephen has received certifications such as Ignition Gold from Inductive Automation and Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) from GIAC Certifications in 2017.
