Peter Washkowitz is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Private Loans at Reorg since January 2017. In this role, Peter oversees the submission-based covenant product and conducts in-depth analyses of high-yield bank and bond financings, focusing on the private credit and direct lending market. Prior to Reorg, Peter worked as an Analyst and Attorney at Xtract Research, where responsibilities included analyzing loan documentation and market terms. Peter also held senior analyst positions at Practical Law, contributing to the analysis of corporate financing trends, and served as an Associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP and Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP, specializing in structured finance transactions. Peter holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a BA in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
