Laureen Métais is a professional in biodiversity and environmental management with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Chargée de mission biodiversité at Rennes Ville et Métropole since August 2021, Laureen previously worked with Région Bretagne and Conseil Départemental de la Mayenne, focusing on ecological, climatic, and energy transitions as well as managing environmental projects. Expertise includes agricultural parcel exchange projects, environmental monitoring, and the integration of wetland policies in urban planning. Laureen has contributed to numerous initiatives, including the development of support tools for biodiversity conservation during a stint at DREAL Bretagne.
