Nils Oesterlen is an experienced professional in the maritime industry, currently serving as the Head of Marine at RENK Group since August 2022. Prior to this role, Nils held various leadership positions at MAN Energy Solutions from June 2018 to August 2022, including Vice President of Medium Speed Engines, where focus areas included efficient ship propulsion systems and advanced fuel technologies. Nils also served as Vice President and Head of Business Development & New Businesses, overseeing marine strategy and market intelligence, as well as Vice President and Head of Sales Medium Speed, managing global sales for marine applications. Nils's earlier experience at MAN Diesel & Turbo included similar roles in sales and technical project management for naval propulsion systems beginning in January 2007. Nils holds a Diplom-Ingenieurin degree in International Technical Sales from Aalen University.
