Sharon Emling has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Substitute Teacher at Renhill Group Inc. since September 2017. From August 1993 to May 2023, Sharon worked as a University Supervisor in Special Education at Kent State University, mentoring student teachers and facilitating communication among school staff, the university, and students while resolving conflicts. Prior roles include Leader/Certified Coach at Weight Watchers from May 2005 to June 2016, Independent Sales Consultant/Branch Advisor at The Longaberger Company from January 1993 to December 2007, and Special Education Teacher at Akron Public Schools from August 1985 to June 1991. Sharon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Teaching of Individuals with Hearing Impairments Including Deafness and a Master’s Degree in Special Education and Teaching from Kent State University.
