Kena is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adolescents, especially females, trauma issues, abuse and child play therapy. Kena has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Utah and a Master of Social Work from Boston College. Kena's expertise comes from experience in a variety of settings including working in the Boston Public school system, in wilderness therapy and in outpatient clinic work.
Kena is the co-founder of Therapy Associates and a nationally recognized wilderness therapist. She has presented workshops nationally on her work in the area of trauma and abuse treatment. Kena has also obtained specialized training in the use of equine assisted psychotherapy and her treatment approach with most clients involves both office work as well as work at the horse arena.
