Taís Goulart has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Taís is currently working as an Energy Resource Engineer at RES since 2022. Their previous roles include working at Câmara de Comercialização de Energia Elétrica - CCEE as an Analyst Junior of Accounting Measurement from 2019 to 2021, where they conducted migrations of agents to the free market and analyzed requests for load and plant modeling. Taís also worked at Julião Coelho Law Firm as a Junior Technical Consultant in 2019, where they researched distributed generation models and contributed to public consultations. Taís has experience as an Energy Engineer Intern at Energy Company of Brasilia - CEB-D in 2018, where they followed field tests and assisted in the analysis of distributed generation projects. Taís also worked as an Energy Engineer Intern at Federal Court of Accounts in 2017, researching the impacts of judicialization and developing benchmarking in renewable energies. Taís started their career as a Researcher at National Council for Scientific and Technological Development - CNPq, conducting research on biofuels and alternative energy sources.

Taís Goulart completed their Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering from Universidade de Brasília from 2012 to 2018. In 2015, they also took a course at the same university on the installation of photovoltaic panels using the System Advisor Model (SAM). Additionally, in 2016, Taís took an Excel course from SENAC Brasília, covering beginner to advanced levels. Taís also obtained certifications in HVDC and AutoCAD in May and April 2017 respectively. The HVDC course was offered by Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (ANEEL), while the AutoCAD course was provided by Matriz Engenharia de Energia.
