James Koehler has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. James began their career in 2009 as a Camp Counselor at YMCA Camp High Harbour. In 2010, they worked as a Food Server/Cook at Biscuit Man Cafe. From 2012 to 2014, they served as a Lifeguard at LIFETIME FITNESS. In 2014, they worked as a Bartender at The Town Tavern of Boone.
Starting from 2016, James joined Sunrun and held several positions. James started as a Solar PV Systems Design Engineer from May 2016 to October 2018. Then, they advanced to the role of a Senior PV Systems Design Engineer from October 2018 to January 2022. Finally, they became a Staff PV Systems Design Engineer from December 2021 to March 2022.
Most recently, James joined RES in January 2023 as an Electrical CAD Designer, although the end date for this role is not specified.
James Koehler graduated from Appalachian State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sustainable Technology.
