Erik Senseney has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the electrical industry. Erik is currently the Director of Energy Storage Construction at RES, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to that, from May to December 2021, they served as a Senior Project Manager at RES.

Before joining RES, Erik worked at Interstate Electrical Contractors, Inc. for almost nine years, starting in November 2012 and leaving in March 2021. During their time there, they held the position of Senior Project Manager, where they were responsible for managing construction of industrial electrical projects and power distribution substations in the West. Their responsibilities included procurement of subcontractors, materials, and project personnel, as well as evaluating safety and electrical code requirements.

From 2010 to 2012, Erik worked at Bridgeport Fittings, first as a Product Manager and then as a Technical Sales Manager. As a Product Manager, they handled various responsibilities related to product management. In their role as a Technical Sales Manager, they interfaced with electrical contractors, engineers, electrical distributors, and electrical inspectors, managing territorial responsibilities for the Eastern United States, Texas, and Colorado.

Prior to their time at Bridgeport Fittings, Erik worked at Interstate Electrical Contractors Inc. from 1993 to 2001 as a Project Superintendent. In this role, they managed projects ranging from substation construction to commercial and industrial electrical projects for clients such as Xcel Energy, United States Mint, Colorado Convention Center, Public Service Company of Colorado, Colorado School of Mines, and La Plata REA.

Erik's career began in the U.S. Air Force, where they served as a Powerline Specialist from 1988 to 1992.

Erik Senseney's education history includes a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Construction Management from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, which they obtained from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology at the University of Colorado at Denver from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Erik Senseney has obtained several certifications. Erik is Procore Certified: Subcontractor, having completed the certification from Procore Technologies in May 2020.
