Gabriel-Alexandru Serban is a seasoned professional in materials engineering with extensive experience in the automotive sector. Currently serving as IST Matériaux GA at Renault Group since May 2024, Gabriel-Alexandru previously held a managerial position in the Materials Engineering Department at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi from September 2017 to May 2024, where responsibilities included managing polytechnic engineering roadmaps and leading Local Technical Leaders to ensure standards compliance. Earlier roles at Groupe Renault involved project management in polymers innovation, technical support across various engineering departments, and contributions to patent generation. Gabriel-Alexandru holds a Post Master Degree in Materials Processing and Modelling from Mines Paris - PSL, alongside a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering from the University of Pitesti.
