Kevin Bielawski is an experienced patent engineer currently working at reMarkable since October 2024. Previously, Kevin served as the Innovation and IP Manager at Optics11 Life from April 2018 to October 2024, where responsibilities included managing external projects, generating innovative proposals, and overseeing the patent portfolio. Kevin held various roles at Optics11, including Development Manager, where leadership involved directing a team of engineers on system development and improvements, and Development Engineer, responsible for the Pavone nanoindenter's development. Additionally, Kevin has a strong research background, having worked as a Research Fellow at the Imagineering Institute and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and both an MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
