Eric is a longtime media-and-entertainment strategist who advises studios, music companies, broadcast and cable networks, video-game publishers, digital-distribution entities, and related companies on new businesses, new products, and new services, industry and competitor analysis, mergers and acquisitions, high-level organization design, and strategic planning. Eric led the Media & Entertainment Stragy practice at Deloitte Consulting for several years.
Eric is prominent thought leader in the evolving media-and-entertainment space, and has spoken at numerous industry fora and colloquia, including CES, NAB, and Digital Hollywood, as well as at universities, including Wharton, Harvard, Stanford, NYU, and Northwestern. He has also contributed to several white papers and other publications.
Eric holds an MBA in Strategic Management and Marketing from The Wharton School and an MA in International Studies from The Lauder Institute, both of the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a BMath in Computer Science with a minor in Drama from the University of Waterloo.
In addition to strategy consulting, Eric teaches public-speaking and voice classes with renowned voice coach David Coury, and runs a specialized executive-recruiting business for the media-and-entertainment industry with search expert Douglas Walker. Eric is also an actor, writer, stand-up comedian, and voice-over artist, and has produced films in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
