Sanjni Shah has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Sanjni most recently served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Relief International since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of People, Facilities, and Travel at Comic Relief from January 2021 to August 2022. In 2020, Sanjni Shah worked as the Human Resources Director at Malala Fund. Before joining Malala Fund, they served as the Head of International People & Learning at the British Red Cross from September 2018 to December 2019. Sanjni Shah also gained extensive experience in their role as a Human Resources Manager at the Department for International Development (DFID) from January 2011 to August 2018. Sanjni began their career as an HR Officer at HelpAge International in December 2008 and later worked as an HR Assistant at King's College London in 2008. Sanjni Shah also has experience with the British Red Cross, where they served as an HR and Administration Delegate from July 2007 to July 2008 and as an International Personnel Administrator from September 2005 to July 2007. Prior to that, they worked as a Recruitment Consultant and Account Manager at Hays Accountancy and Finance from December 2003 to August 2005. Sanjni Shah started their career as a Programme Assistant at the Institute of Human Rights Communication from February 2003 to June 2003.
Sanjni Shah completed a BSc in Management from The University of Manchester from 1995 to 1999. Sanjni then pursued an MSc in Development with a focus on International Development at SOAS University of London from 2000 to 2001. Later, they obtained a PG Diploma in Human Resource Management from London Metropolitan University, studying from 2008 to 2010.
