Elango Subramanyam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and R&D within the petrochemical and polymer sectors. At Reliance Industries Limited since July 2008, Elango has progressed from Senior Manager in R&D to Senior General Manager in Business Development, leading initiatives in new product development, commercialization, and sustainability efforts. Previous roles included significant contributions to the development of biodegradable polymers and innovative formulations during postdoctoral research positions at various universities. Elango holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemical Technology, specializing in high-performance pigments and environmentally friendly materials.
