Dr. Nilay Ranjan currently serves as the Head of Education at Reliance Foundation since February 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Ranjan was the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability at Vodafone Idea Limited from September 2018 to January 2023, where responsibilities included managing a grant portfolio of over 24 non-profit organizations, developing ESG reporting frameworks, and implementing sustainability strategies. With a background in CSR at Idea Cellular Ltd and significant experience in rural development with UNDP, Dr. Ranjan has cultivated expertise in creating impactful education, health, and livelihood programs. Dr. Ranjan holds a PhD in International Relations and Affairs from Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya and has completed executive education in CSR at the Indian School of Business.
