Antara Sengupta is an experienced education researcher currently serving as Lead Research (Education) at Reliance Foundation since October 2021. Prior to this role, Antara worked as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, contributing to an Economic and Social Research Council-funded project in collaboration with the University of Glasgow. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Intern at the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP UNESCO), a Research Fellow at Observer Research Foundation focusing on higher education policies, and a Senior Correspondent at Hindustan Times reporting on education issues. Antara began their career in journalism as an Assistant Producer at CNBC-TV18 and has an academic background that includes multiple master's degrees in education from prestigious institutions such as the University of Glasgow and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, as well as a post-graduate diploma in broadcast journalism.
